The Vision

A Multifaceted Ministry
for Every Season of Life

In 1992, God revealed a vision to Pastor Mpilo Ndlela — a comprehensive ministry that would touch every dimension of human life. From that seed, Mpilo Ndlela Kingdom Ministries was born, and today it encompasses a thriving church, a dynamic youth ministry, an intellectuals' forum, a women's movement, a music ministry, and a leadership school.

The entire vision is registered under the name Mpilo Ndlela Kingdom Ministries, headquartered at 57 Quintus Van Der Walt Avenue, Norkem Park, Kempton Park. What began locally is now impacting people nationally and internationally.

1989: Salvation: Mpilo Ndlela received Jesus Christ of Nazareth as his Lord and Saviour on 18 November 1989 in Zimbabwe.

1992: Vision: Mpilo was given a vision when he was still very young in the Lord. At that stage he could not fully understand exactly what God wanted him to do.

"The Lord showed me a great multitude standing before me. As I looked to the left and to the right I could not see the extent of the multitude because of its size even though I was on a platform. I perceived in my spirit that it was the church which God was calling me to establish for Him. I also perceived the nation was not Zimbabwe, but a foreign nation."

The Lord provided Mpilo with the prophetic confirmation of his vision through His word.

"I woke up one morning and took my Bible to read as is my habit. I began to read from Genesis 12:1-4, the section sub-titled 'God calls Abram'".

¹ The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you."

² "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

³ I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

⁴ So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran.

"I heard the scripture as if an invisible person was talking to me. I was afraid and quickly closed the Bible. I could not read the Bible that day. It happened again the following day and I became more scared. I decided to carefully open the Bible with the intention of avoiding that passage in Genesis. But I would read the Bible and be compelled to turn again to Genesis 12:1-4. The invisible person would speak the four verses of scripture right into my spirit. This happened for almost a week until I understood that the Lord was giving me a message. He was saying to me I should leave my home and go to where He was sending me. He told me to go to a powerful apostolic ministry that had just started in the city where I was staying about 5 years before. He told me to submit to the authority of the leadership there. I became involved in full-time ministry and served under a mighty man of God."

1993: Confirmation of a Healing Ministry. Mpilo was given a vision one night in which the Lord confirmed that he had been anointed to heal the sick.

"I was preaching to a group of about 10 people in an open space. While I was preaching, something invisible dropped on my head and I felt it run through my body. It came to rest in my right arm. One of the people listening to me preaching immediately signaled to me that he wanted to take me to a nearby house where someone needed a healing prayer. When we arrived at that house, there was a dead body. I laid my hands on it and said in the name of Jesus Christ, rise up. Life was restored to the body. I asked the person to receive Jesus as his Saviour. I was then ushered into a room full of dead bodies that looked like a mortuary. I laid hands on all of them and they all came back to life and walked out alive."

1994: Prophetic confirmation of calling into the ministry: Mpilo was given a prophetic word (Jeremiah 1:5) at a meeting confirming that God was calling him to the ministry and that God wanted him to work in a foreign land.

1996: Ordination: Mpilo was ordained as a pastor.

2006: Mission: The senior pastor informed Pastor Mpilo that he was to go to South Africa with the mission of starting a new branch for their church.

Apostolic mandate: The Lord began to instruct Pastor Mpilo in a way that seemed strange to him.

"I want you to open a road for me from Messina to Cape Town. It is a great work that needs pioneering. I have commanded some people to bring resources to that work."

This mandate is confirmed prophetically through the Word of God from Isaiah 40:3-5.

³ A voice of one calling:

"In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.

⁴ Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.

⁵ And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

Prophetic confirmation of apostolic mandate: This was confirmed through the dream of a woman who was a member of the congregation of the church where Pastor Mpilo was ministering at that time. She dreamt of Pastor Mpilo leading a great church – a multi-racial church in a foreign land. This is a ministry mandate to touch the whole of South Africa.

On 31 December 2006 Pastor Mpilo was given a prophetic word by a mighty man of God who was his overseer at that stage.

"You are God's battle axe. God is going to use you to destroy, to build, to plant and to establish. (Jeremiah 1:10). You have a great ministry, a ministry of power that faces great opposition because of its nature. All the things that have been happening – painful things – have been part of the preparation. Others have shorter seasons, but yours has been longer because of the nature of your ministry. You have a ministry that goes into places where others refuse to go. You have a ministry with great clarity. You have experienced a lot of valleys because you will take a lot of mountains. Your ministry has great impact. The devil doesn't just let it go, but fights it a lot because it is very dangerous to his kingdom. Murderers, robbers, very scary people will be saved through your ministry. People whom many cannot receive as disciples like Paul at first will be saved through your ministry. (Acts 9:26-27). They will come and drop before you their dangerous weapons of destruction, guns, knives, axes and will repent. Some will come with stolen money, dangerous robbers and you will know how to handle all that because God has given you the heart to deal with that. They will respond to the sweetness of your gospel. I see a great church before you. I see a great church before you. (Genesis 12:1-4). Don't worry yourself about others who appear to be ahead of you. Your time will come. Your ministry is going to cause pain that you won't like to take, but God will give you the grace to endure. Don't hesitate, don't fret, and don't be afraid. Whenever you hesitate it would be God speaking to you to do something. From now on it's going to be a new season of flow of things. I see a big poster advertising your ministry. God is going to connect you to divine connections without your effort."

2007: Confirmation of a Deliverance Ministry: The revelation of a ministry of deliverance was confirmed by an evangelist who said: "I see people - colored people, indians, whites and blacks - dropping witchcraft things before you." (Acts 19:17-20).

2008: Mission initiated: Pastor Mpilo first came to South Africa in September 2008. Pastor Mpilo was sent by his senior pastor and founder of the ministry where he was serving to South Africa to plant a new church, a branch of that ministry.

2009: Pastor Mpilo began to be aware that changes were imminent in his involvement in the ministry. He and his family began to fast and pray to seek God's way of this happening. The Lord told Pastor Mpilo to start the mandate for the ministry is initiated in Kempton Park. "In 2008 the Lord showed me an open ground where there were going to be buildings of office blocks, an auditorium that seats thousands of people, a conference centre, a primary school, a high school, a practical skills college, a university and a bible school. I was shown that this would be the headquarters of the ministry."

2010: Mandate initiated: During the whole month of March 2010, the Lord placed a burden on Pastor Mpilo's heart about the task ahead and indicated that He had given a mandate to begin this work. He began to connect Pastor Mpilo with people who confirmed that the vision is from God and that it is now time for the vision to be realised. God revealed through visions that there will be many churches planted in many places in South Africa. In one instance, Pastor Mpilo was shown a 40000 member congregation which appeared to be increasing to 100000 members. God said to him: "There is your church". There will be training of ministers of the gospel of Christ for the work.

According to what the Lord is saying to Pastor Mpilo, this vision is going to include a multiplicity of ministries within it.

1) planting and establishing of churches;

2) an evangelistic ministry that will consist of evangelistic teams that will plant churches;

3) a family ministry that is directed at restoring marital life through the Word of God;

4) a music ministry that will groom and establish musicians in the Word of God;

5) a schools ministry that will take the gospel of Christ into academic institutions;

6) a conference ministry;

7) a revival ministry that will bring revival to the body of Christ;

8) a wealth ministry where people will be taught how to prosper through using their hands rather than receiving donations for the rest of their lives.

Through this vision, there are going to be many other ministries brought to fruition that are meant to touch people of all walks of life through the gospel of Christ.
